Measurable Results

Trackable Tools at Hyperbaric+ - Prior To Sessions
At Hyperbaric Plus, we focus on results that are measurable. We encourage our clients to utilize the many tools available for self monitoring their progress on their wellness journey.
Check out some of the tools our clients use, let us know if you have any tools that we may add to our list..
From session one, we encourage the use of our symptom tracker, a quick self assessment questionnaire to track how your body + mind respond. Be sure to use the symptoms tracker to evaluate your symptoms everyday.
What It Is:
A client-completed form or digital check-in used before and after your session plan to track subjective symptoms over time. It helps monitor changes in your energy, sleep, focus, mood, and more.
Why It Matters:
You don’t have to “guess” if progress is happening. The symptom tracker gives you measurable data, creating transparency and helping you track changes in your wellness. You can visually compare progress (e.g., week 1 vs. week 4 bar chart).
We invite all clients to get a baseline for no charge prior to their first HBAT session using our FDA-cleared eye-tracking technology that measures how your eyes move and align, reflecting brain function. RightEye evaluates how well your eyes coordinate and react to visual stimuli.
Why It Matters:
Your eyes are a direct reflection of your brain. RightEye provides quantifiable, objective data in under 15 minutes, showing how trauma, inflammation, or stress may affect cognitive and neurological function. The data is clear and visual, ideal for tracking progress over time. Establishing a baseline prior to HBAT provides a technology that can detect subtle changes in progress.
What It Is:
A mobile neurocognitive assessment app that measures short-term memory, reaction time, coordination, and attention span.
Why It Matters:
This mobile app is free to all H+ clients, it is on your cell. HitCheck provides a quick and convenient way to assess cognitive performance anytime you feel in deficit, sports injury, auto accident, slip on the ice, etc…. HITCHECK creates a baseline and follow up tests to monitor brain function by tracking changes in memory, reaction time, and mental clarity as you live life, from the convenience of your cell.
The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a 10–15 minute screening tool designed to detect mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and early dementia. Developed by Dr. Ziad Nasreddine in 1996, the MoCA is widely used by neurologists, psychologists, and primary care providers.
The MoCA is a simple, practical tool that can help detect early signs of cognitive decline. If you or someone you care about has noticed memory lapses, focus issues, or other cognitive changes, consider discussing MoCA testing with our staff who will guide you to our cognitive expert.
Early insight allows for informed action—and that can make all the difference.
Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG), often called a brain map, is a non-invasive tool that measures and analyzes the brain’s electrical activity. It helps identify imbalances that may affect attention, memory, mood, and overall cognitive performance.
QEEG provides a clear, non-invasive visual of how your brain is working. By identifying patterns of dysregulation, it helps guide targeted, effective strategies to support cognitive and emotional wellness.
This testing can provide a path to using our Neuronic programmable photobiomodulation helmet for any cognitive issues. Responding at the first sign of cognitive decline is paramount.
What It Is:
A handheld device that measures the maximum speed at which you can exhale, known as Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF). It helps assess lung strength and airway health.
Why It Matters:
The Peak Flow Meter is a simple, low-cost way to measure lung health. It’s fast and easy for clients to use, and it clearly shows changes in respiratory function. This tool is particularly valuable when combined with hyperbaric air therapy or breathwork to optimize lung function and oxygen efficiency. The Peak Flow Meter app is a great tool to collect data for Peak Flow and O2 monitoring. It can provide a line graph for easy monitoring of trends. Everyone with post COVID breathing issues wishes they had a pulmonary baseline prior to their illness.
The 6-Minute Walk Test (6MWT) is a simple assessment used to measure how well your body uses oxygen during physical activity. It involves walking at a comfortable pace for six minutes, while monitoring heart rate, and oxygen saturation. This test helps monitor the trending of your functional capacity. Your healthcare provider should oversee your first test and safety considerations should be considered prior to follow up self testing.
Purpose:
- Assess Exercise Capacity: Measures the distance you can walk in six minutes to gauge your ability to perform daily activities.
- Evaluate Hypoxemia: Identifies if your oxygen levels drop during exercise, indicating a potential need for supplemental oxygen.
- Monitor Treatment Effectiveness: Tracks your exercise tolerance over time to assess the effectiveness of treatments for heart or lung conditions.
- Determine Need for Oxygen Therapy: Helps decide if supplemental oxygen is needed during activities or exercise.
How It's Done:
- Preparation: Rest for 10 minutes before the test.
- Baseline Measurements: Heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels are recorded.
- Walking: Walk at a comfortable pace for six minutes, with rest breaks as needed.
- Monitoring: Vital signs are continuously tracked
Safety Considerations:
While the 6MWT is generally safe, risks such as oxygen desaturation or severe symptoms (weakness, shortness of breath, dizziness) may require stopping the test. These will be closely monitored by healthcare professionals.
- Interpretation:
The distance walked is compared to expected values for your age, sex, and health status. The results help determine if oxygen therapy is necessary, track progress, and assess overall health.during the test. - Final Measurements: Heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels are recorded again.
- Distance Recorded: The total distance walked is measured and used for assessment.
Factors Affecting Results:
- Age, Gender, and Height: These can influence the expected walking distance.
- Health Conditions: Heart disease, lung disease, or obesity may impact results.
- Motivation: Your effort level can affect how far you walk.
Measuring the recovery of a wound involves tracking changes in the size, depth, and tissue characteristics of the wound over time. This can be done through visual inspection, photography, and using specialized tools such as digital planimetry and rulers. Additional factors like pain, infection, and the presence of healthy tissue also provide insights into healing progress.
Several of our clients have provided timeline photos and wound care doctor notes to help us share HBAT results with others.
We highly recommend identifying comparison lab results that can be used to monitor any chronic issue our clients are dealing with. Kidney and liver function are popular ailments our clients see change in 10-20 sessions, many not even aware their numbers are moving until a comparison test is reviewed by their provider.

BioScan is a scanning system that helps to check the organs and their functions and understand whether there is a problem. It helps to control the imbalances via EDS, that is electrodermal screening. This new procedure offers accurate testing results. Briefly, it can be said that Bioscan examines one’s body functions and gives information about a person’s wellness degree.
Oligoscan is a non-invasive procedure that uses spectrophotometry to analyze mineral and heavy metal levels in the body. It measures the absorption and reflection of light from the palm of the hand to determine intracellular levels of 20 essential minerals and 14 toxic heavy metals. The results are then used to create a personalized report, which can be used to tailor treatment and supplement strategies.
