Breakthroughs in Wellness and Recovery Newsletter
This edition looks at a major health-policy statement from Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the changing conversation around compounded peptides, archived Avazzia and AI class announcements, and the importance of collecting measurable results without overstating what the data proves.
A Turning Point in the National Health Conversation?
On October 25, 2024, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted on X that the FDA's “war on public health” was about to end and criticized the agency's approach to a long list of products and interventions.
The post appeared 11 days before the November 5, 2024 presidential election, after Kennedy had suspended his independent campaign and endorsed Donald Trump. Kennedy later became the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services in February 2025.
Kennedy's statement named psychedelics, peptides, stem cells, raw milk, hyperbaric therapies, chelation compounds, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamins, nutraceuticals, exercise, sunshine, and clean food. These categories do not all have the same evidence, regulatory status, safety profile, or legal pathway.
The statement reflects a political and regulatory position, not proof that every listed intervention is safe or effective. FDA oversight exists to evaluate manufacturing quality, labeling, safety, efficacy, and medical claims. At the same time, regulatory policy can change as new evidence, public priorities, and agency leadership evolve.
Peptides and HBAT: What We Know and What We Still Need to Learn
“Peptide” is a broad scientific category, not one single therapy. Some peptide drugs are FDA approved for specific medical indications, while other peptides promoted online remain unapproved, experimental, or subject to changing compounding rules.
Claims that peptides and Hyperbaric Air Therapy work synergistically for chronic disease, injury recovery, inflammation, or tissue repair require direct clinical evidence for the exact peptide, dose, route, pressure protocol, population, and outcome being discussed. A plausible mechanism or personal testimonial is not the same as a controlled human trial.
Questions to Ask a Peptide Provider
- What exact peptide is being recommended?
- Is it FDA approved for the proposed use?
- Is it compounded, and by what licensed pharmacy?
- What human clinical evidence supports the recommendation?
- What are the known risks, contraindications, and monitoring requirements?
- How will the product be stored, administered, and tracked?
- What happens if side effects or abnormal labs occur?

Weekly Avazzia Training: Vagus Nerve Reset
The original announcement listed Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 1:00 PM for an Avazzia class focused on a “Vagus Nerve Reset” protocol.
This was an educational class for device owners to bring their units, questions, and notebooks. Because that date has passed, contact Hyperbaric Plus for the current training calendar rather than using the archived RSVP link as confirmation of a future class.
Important safety point: Avazzia's own precautions warn users not to place stimulation over the carotid sinus or thyroid area because of potential effects on breathing, heart rhythm, or blood pressure. A “vagus nerve reset” should never be treated as a casual universal protocol.
Measurable Results Can Strengthen the Conversation, Not Guarantee Coverage
Hyperbaric Plus has developed a tracking template that can organize lab values, dates, notes, and graphs into a more understandable timeline.
A visual record can help clients prepare for appointments, notice trends, document the sequence of interventions, and ask more focused questions. It does not prove that HBAT caused a change, especially when medications, diet, hydration, illness, supplements, and other services changed during the same period.
What a Strong Record Should Include
- Original lab reports, not manually retyped values alone
- Collection dates, units, and laboratory reference ranges
- Medication and supplement changes
- Relevant diagnoses and clinician notes
- Session dates and other interventions
- Consistent outcome measures and symptom logs
- Written consent before any information is shared publicly
Medical cost-sharing ministries such as Medi-Share and Samaritan Ministries are not the same as conventional health insurance. Member sharing depends on each organization's current guidelines, eligibility rules, documentation requirements, and discretion.
AI and Your Health Journey 101
The original class was scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM and focused on using AI to organize information, visualize data, and prepare stronger questions for healthcare appointments.
Appropriate Uses of AI
- Summarize a long list of questions before an appointment.
- Turn laboratory dates and values into a readable table or graph.
- Explain unfamiliar terminology in plain language.
- Compare a result with the reference range printed on the report.
- Create a timeline of symptoms, medications, tests, and appointments.
- Identify questions that still require a licensed professional.
What AI Should Not Do
- Diagnose a condition from uploaded labs or symptoms.
- Tell you to start, stop, or change prescription medication.
- Replace emergency care or professional interpretation.
- Guarantee that a suggested treatment is safe or effective.
- Receive identifiable records before you understand the platform's privacy terms.
Privacy warning: Consumer AI and health apps are not automatically covered by HIPAA. Remove names, birth dates, addresses, medical-record numbers, account numbers, and other identifying details unless you understand who operates the tool, how data is stored, and whether it may be used for training or shared with third parties.
Contact Hyperbaric Plus for current AI education dates. The original September 2025 RSVP link is preserved as historical context but should not be treated as an active event registration.

Document Carefully, Question Boldly, and Verify Everything
Policy can change, emerging tools can become more accessible, and data can strengthen a conversation. None of those things removes the need for evidence, informed consent, privacy protection, and qualified guidance.
